The 2016/17 AHPRA Annual Report was released in Nov 2017 and has shown that :
– 22,383 dental practitioners are registered with AHPRA
– 526 notifications were lodged with AHPRA about dental practitioners
– 14.6% resulted in accepting an undertaking or conditions being imposed on a dental practitioner’s registration
– 20% resulted in a dental practitioner receiving a caution or reprimand by the Board
– 0.8% resulted in suspension or cancellation of registration and
– 62.1% resulted in no further action being taken
