A study in the USA showed that 66% of cancer survivors struggle to pay their medical bills, and 65% are in debt because they do not have enough income to cover treatment-related expenses. With this in mind it’s alarming that 83% of Australians say they have insurance for their car, but yet only 31% insure their ability to earn an income with income protection insurance.
