68% of claims from one life insurer helped their customers while recovering from an illness or injury

Supporting their customers and their families through the claims they pay is the most important thing a life insurer can do.

Last year, one Life Insurer (TAL) paid $2.7 billion in claims to 36,901 customers¹.

That’s equivalent to over $45 million a week.

They accepted 95% of all claims received.

Of the total volume of claims they paid, 68% helped their customers continue living their lives while recovering from an illness or injury.

Other Insurers will have similar information to share with circa $12 billion being paid in claims by all Insurers in 2019.

Further details shown in the infographic from TAL below.
