A large life insurer recently released statistics showing the main conditions that have led to a TPD insurance policy claim. The main conditions and the percentages of claims from those conditions are shown below :
- Musculoskeletal 25%
- Accident 19%
- Mental Health 18%
- Cancer 6%
- Cardio-vascular 5%
- All other conditions 27%
